Cookin No. 47 - opening a restaurant
So the restaurant is open! A tough week for everyone, we all busted our butts to pull it together, and i think that its going to be great! the space is awesome, the kitchen rocks, and the food is perfect!
To be honest all the days are starting to blend together. Because the space is bigger, and we are open all day, there is so much more food prep to be done. soo much more ordering. so much more people that need to be involved. and the clean up, takes a whole lot longer. but that is the beauty of a restaurant, you work so much harder to make a few moments magical for the customer. And at the end of the day, you know that you did your job well, and even though you know there is a whole lot more to do the next day... on this day, it is done and you can go breath and enjoy some satisfaction.
